The vestibular system — in the inner ear and brain — controls balance and spatial orientation. After whiplash or head injury, some people develop lasting dizziness, motion sensitivity, and a foggy feeling. These symptoms deserve proper vestibular and medical evaluation.
Vestibular problems are diagnosed and treated by medical and vestibular specialists; rehabilitation is often central. The neck shares position sensors with the balance system, so neck injury can contribute to dizziness — one reason a neck evaluation is reasonable after medical assessment.
After medical and vestibular evaluation, Dr. Jon can examine the upper cervical spine for injury-related mechanical problems and discuss whether One Life’s approach is appropriate as part of your broader recovery.
