Neck Pain
Stiffness, soreness, or discomfort when turning your head.

Whiplash happens when the head is thrown suddenly forward and back, straining the neck’s muscles, joints, and sometimes ligaments. Symptoms can include pain, stiffness, headache, and dizziness, and may be delayed by hours or days.
Most whiplash improves over weeks, but some people develop persistent symptoms. Medical evaluation after the injury rules out fracture and other serious problems. Ligament injury can leave the neck less stable, which influences what care is appropriate.
Dr. Jon can examine the upper cervical spine for whiplash-related mechanical injury, using imaging when clinically appropriate, and discuss whether One Life’s gentle approach fits. Forceful manipulation is not appropriate when instability is suspected.
