Explore neck painPersistent dizziness and unsteadiness, often triggered by motion.
Persistent postural-perceptual dizziness (PPPD) is a chronic pattern of dizziness and unsteadiness, often worsened by upright posture, movement, or busy visual environments. It typically follows another vestibular event and is diagnosed by a medical provider.
PPPD is a medical diagnosis made after other causes are evaluated. Vestibular rehabilitation and medical management are the mainstays of care. Neck problems can coexist and contribute to discomfort, but they are not the cause of PPPD.
One Life does not treat PPPD. If you have accompanying neck pain or stiffness, Dr. Jon can evaluate those musculoskeletal concerns separately, in coordination with your vestibular and medical care.
