Explore dysautonomiaRapid heart rate and symptoms when standing up.
POTS is a disorder of the autonomic nervous system in which standing causes an abnormally large increase in heart rate, often with lightheadedness, fatigue, and brain fog. It is diagnosed and managed by physicians, often cardiologists or autonomic specialists.
POTS requires medical diagnosis and management, which may include fluid and salt strategies, exercise protocols, and medication. Do not attribute these symptoms to spinal alignment or delay medical care.
One Life does not treat POTS. Some people with POTS also have neck pain or headache, and Dr. Jon can evaluate those musculoskeletal concerns separately, in coordination with your medical team.
